  • Get what you pay for on the strip or location, location, location? The Good: This place was located right where I wanted it. It's right in the center of everything. A short walk to Planet Hollywood, Cosmopolitan... right in the center of the strip and priced below every major casino/hotel nearby. The GF and I stayed here for a couple of nights and didn't need to drive the car anywhere or call for a taxi. We saw a couple of shows, had a couple of buffets and walked the strip all with the comfort of knowing a bed was nearby for short breaks. Parking was pretty nice and I felt safe in the area with security walking by often. The room had a safe, hair dryer, soap and shampoo. The Bad: You get what you pay for. During spring break, we paid $150($180 with fees) through hotels.com. The rooms were decent but below what I would call good quality in every aspect. The beds had a little pad on them but not a whole lot though we did sleep. There were three undersized and relatively stiff pillows. Sheets were low quality. The front window wouldn't open. We had to keep the fresh air running the entire visit to try to flush out the smell of cleaning products. The TV was HD but fairly small and I think it only had local channels. The walls had cracks and needed paint pretty badly. The toilet paper was a little rough. No fridge, mic, coffee maker(?) or any other extras that I can remember now. It was a little noisy but, again, we did sleep. Overall: If I wanted to save money I would go again for the location. For the most part we only needed a place to crash when we weren't out having a blast on the strip. The bigger hotels are a hell of a lot nicer but we were really only paying for a bed. Go, bring your own pillows and you'll save enough for quite a few drinks.
