| - I was curious about eye lash extensions, so needless to say, when I saw the Dealfind for "mink" eyelashes for $39, which was supposed to be valued at $179, I thought, why not? Unfortunately, like the other reviewer indicated, these were THE worst eyelash extensions and were definitely NOT "mink."
Although A-eish (the owner) was very friendly and pleasant -- the extensions were poorly placed, clumped together and looked equivalent to eye lashes with left-over mascara. My eyelashes, without the extensions, and with mascara on, look TONS better than the extensions placed on me. I've seen eyelashes placed on customers at my local Vietnamese pedicure place come out looking a whole lot better -- and for only $25. They also don't falsely advertise them to be "mink."
I thought I was being too picky, but when my several of my friends saw the eye lashes, they confirmed they looked worse than when I was wearing mascara. I called A-eisha the very next day and informed her I wanted them removed, due to the poor quality of them and even indicated that I had several friends who have mink eye-lashes, which definitely had a different texture, so there was no way the extensions she promotes as "mink," could possibly be mink. She didn't refute this. She was gracious enough to make an appointment for me to have them removed. But after spending almost 2 hours of having the eyelashes placed on me, the $39 Dealfind price and the $20 tip, I didn't think it was worth the time, drive or the $20 charge to have them removed by her. Thus, I will be going to my local pedicure place (who does extensions) to have them removed.
The worst $59 spent, 2 hours wasted and half hour drive... Lesson learned...if something is supposed to be valued at $179 and it's been priced at $39--there's probably a reason for it.
