| - I became a gym rat without a home a long time ago, I couldn't afford it anymore. I moved to New River...and there weren't many choices in this area, so I joined Mountainside. I wasn't too fond of the trainer that was assigned to me, I felt I didn't get the attention necessary to learn the machines, floor exercises, etc.. I signed a month to month contract, which I cancelled due to I had to move, and I didn't feel like it was my home.
The only reason I came back to Mountainside, was because there was a new facility opening by my daughter, and I knew she would want to go with me. I came in on Valentine's Day 2015 looking for a month to month membership, which I did. then I came in on the 19th (I think) to have my free personal training session, and had a chat with Ryan, which wasn't all peaches and cream, but he was honest and passionate about what he does for Mountainside, which is when I was introduced to Kyler, and signed an 18 month contract.
Kyler and I have been working together for 8 months, and it has been awesome. There are no judgments or boot camp strategies involved. Sometimes we talk...sometimes we don't. In the end I am at the gym 5-6 days a week, feeling like I have accomplished something...Not to mention the burn that stays after I leave.
The gym, to me, is more than a place for me to workout, it is my solitude.
