  • I really needed a haircut badly yesterday as my hair was getting ridiculously long and my facial hair was getting out of control. I was in the Downtown Chandler area yesterday visiting my grandfather. I saw the barber shop across the street from his store and I asked him if the barbers were good. He responded, "They do a great job over there." I figured because I was in the area, I should get a haircut. I walked in and was greeted properly. Once the haircut started, I explained to the man cutting my hair that I wanted a complete buzz, and I wanted him to clean up my neck and shave off all of my facial hair except my mustache. He was very short, and said, "I got that, I got that" before I was done explaining. I then decided to be quiet for the haircut and I tried to be accommodating by raising my chin when he was shaving in that area. Although he cautioned me that he had a sharp razor and told me that I was moving too much, I was only moving so he could do a good job on the areas, and he rudely said, "You're fine, you're fine." He then initiated a sarcastic remark or insult by saying "How often do you do this" almost like I was a difficult customer. By the way, he then had trouble with the credit card machine and another barber had to show him how to work it. The haircut and shave cost an atrocious $37 and he did not even clean up all of the hairs under my chin and he kept my mustache too long (The whole process took about 45 minutes long, way too long). I am glad that they do a good job for my grandfather, but I will never be going back here.
