Unacceptable experience at the hotel on Tuesday. Had a great brunch for 35 people and the staff in the buffet was wonderful. Step to the elevator to get to the garage and four of our people got stuck. We get it it happens however the way the Santa Fe hotel handled this was absolutely unacceptable. Fire department folks were amazing and yet the hotel manager on duty Ernest could care less that our folks were completely dehydrated when they got out of the situation. It had to be at least 116 in that elevator for almost an hour . Security was there and was very helpful yet the "manager" checked in and was not even there when they got out. We had to ask for him to see if we could get these people a room to cool off in. "We don't have rooms" was the answer until he overheard someone say that the hotel would be responsible for any medical bills incurred. Then suddenly he found a room. Not acceptable in any way and this will not to unnoticed.
