I am a current resident and I absolutely HATE it here. One of the things that attracted me to the Bingham was that it "seemed" to cater to a more "professional" clientele. I work full time and I am also pursuing my doctorate and I cannot find any peace. I have a neighbor who blasts his music from 5pm until around 3am. I am sleep deprived and behind on my dissertation. The concierges usually respond when I call them to address the noise issue, but the noise has gotten so consistent that I finally decided to contact the leasing office. Upon hearing both sides, Rhonda (the building manager) contacted me saying that my neighbor also complained because I disturbed his peace by knocking on the wall and knocking on his door to ask him to turn down his music. She then went on to defend him by saying that he's just a guy who wants to enjoy some music after a long work day. Unbelievable!! She refuses to fine him, even though our lease clearly states that repeated noise violators will be fined. I am at wits end. Very frustrated. Oh, and one last thing... she recommended that I go to the lounge to write my dissertation. I'm paying a sizable amount of money for an apartment where I'm subjected to hearing my neighbor's techno music all day and night. If you are a working professional who values peace and quiet, do not rent in this building. If you are a college student- this is the place for you!!
