  • Reiki has become a billionaire dollar business and due to it, a lot of fakes have crop up everywhere looking to cash in. I am always looking for the real deal, but sadly I didn't find that here. Most of the 'masters' here are trained by the owner, who herself doesn't seem very talented based upon my initial impression. I have no problem with anyone offering Reiki services to anyone else, but as soon as you start charging others and claiming you are a master, you better back that up, because you are dealing with people's energy or soul. I started asking questions about there backgrounds and was immediately hit with reluctance and denial. Expect to have some refuse services to you, which is absurd coming from a healing discipline. A healer who refuses to heal isn't much of a healer in the first place. Imagine if a doctor refused to perform life saving surgery because they didn't feel like it. Absurd. Also not surprising, they think a 'certificate' makes one viable to perform sacred ritual healing. I have experienced a true Reiki/Prana healing session, including from those that are in training, and after trying out a few here, my belief is that most here are at a basic level. In my honest opinion, no one here is anywhere near ready to be performing healing on anyone else. At best, they can perform basic services, although in fairness - I didn't receive treatment from every single 'master' here, nor did I want too. It reminds me however of when one goes to a taekwondo academy to see 'black belts' who can't even properly kick, yet are 'black belts' because the american owner seems to enjoy giving them out like candy due to how long they have been paying customers of theirs. Just as there is a perversion of the martial arts and 'black belts' the college system and 'bachelor degree's', expect to see the same for Reiki and 'Reiki masters', a Japanese technique at heart. That being said, there seems to be a medicine man Warrior here named Shawn that everyone has a high opinion of. I don't know why they list him as a Shaman. He only takes certain customers if he has time. If you really need a healing session, he is probably your best bet. I wouldn't waste time on any of the others unless you truly feel a vibe coming from one of them, and you are only looking to experience what a Reiki Session is like. 2 Stars for some basic items that they carry in the store. You can order things online that are better though and their selection is poor to be honest.
