My aunt came for a visit last Thanksgiving. While here she asked me to help her buy a vehicle. We landed at Heggs. It was a great experience. She found the vehicle she wanted at a fair price. Six months later, I am in the market for a RAM 1500. I got off work early picked up my wife and we went to Heggs CJDR to buy a truck. I called the previous salesman. We test drove several trucks and landed on one we liked. We go in to crunch some numbers to see if we could make it work. That's when the entire experience went to pots. I wanted to see the numbers on 2019 RAM 1500. They kept bringing me numbers on a 2018 and wouldn't give me the final monthly price and residual for the 36 month lease for either vehicles. I have been leasing for 20 years and I have never dealt with such incompetence. The sales rep kept going back and forth and wouldn't shoot me straight. The lease rate they did give me was a range and was substantially more than what Edmonds, carsdirect indicates was a fair price. It's like they didn't want my business or worse they didn't know how to work a lease. Either way I was very disappointed. I will chalk this up as another horrible car experience from incompetent people in an industry already filled with predatory practices.
Sincerely,
