This place gets it. In all of the ways that matter for a breakfast/brunch spot, they're nailing it. The space is cool, the food is delicious, the coffee comes from some legendary roaster out of Oregon (not sure that really matters, but the coffee is great!) all of the people that work there are friendly and take exceptional care of their guests. This morning I watched a customer walk up to the counter to ask what happened to the side of cream he asked for (10 seconds earlier) The server politely replied that they were steaming his cream first so would make his coffee iced cold. Sometimes it's the little things.
The point is if you're thinking about opening a breakfast spot yourself, you should stop in to the crêpe bar to see how its done. And also to have a delicious breakfast.
Thought about knocking a star off because they're closed on Mondays but I can't do it. It's too good a spot and besides, everybody needs a day off!
