I empathize and respect the reviews that are already posted. The mgr or owner of the store kind of brow beat me as well. Maybe she doesn't have the patience to deal with newbie customers who have issues or questions. I think she means well, but a less abrasive demeanor might bring in more repeat business.
If you're one of the regulars who comes into the store (like John B's review)--you're good, and you'll probably get good service. If you don't come in regularly, and you're not first in line, the service takes quite a downturn. I have only been in the store a handful of times, but twice I've been in for ten or more minutes without anyone saying a word to me. No "hello," or, "I'll be with you in a second." Nothing. I walked out without finding what I needed or anyone saying a word to me.
It's a small store, so it's difficult to believe this could happen. Teenagers working at fast food restaurants at least recognize you when you walk in the door.
I want to support Fountain Hill's businesses, but it's tough when you get this type of service. I hope they work on improving it.
