I've been on a quest to try all the Vietnamese restaurants in the Charlotte area and Vietnam Grille was not at the top of this list to try but I'm very glad we made a stop there.
The outside of the restaurant is not very appealing but wait until you step inside. The restaurant is so cozy and warm. It was definitely a comfort from the cold rainy day. The staff is very alert and inviting.
The food however is impressive. I ordered the Mì Hoánh Thánh and my friends ordered the Com Tam Suon - Tom Nuong and the Hu Tieu. There was a very pungent seafood smell when the food arrived but it quickly left. My soup was very delicious and the star of the dish was the wontons. They get bonus points because they give you a large portions and their prices are reasonable.
Through the years I've heard mixed reviews but today they really proved themselves and I will be definitely be a regular!!!
