| - Lately I've been having a streak of
disappointing restaurants, so I thought Goyemon never fails me and came to have an earlier dinner. I was wrong, yet again. So usually it's really busy, but because I came earlier it was still pretty slow (no one at the sushi bar except my mom and me), with maybe about 3 tables. The kitchen service was quick and the servers were on it, but the sushi chef we sat in front of was the worst! His name was Lee, and because of him I probably will not be back for a while. He never said Hi or even looked at us. We waited patiently because he seemed to be in his own little world, but after a while I decided to ask him if we can order. Still didn't look at us and just said wait.... so again we waited. Nothing. My mom decided to just start writing down the nigiris we wanted and when he finally decided to talk to us, we handed that over to him and that was it. I've sat in front of him before and he was kind of stand-offish, but today he was just rude. I don't want to have a full conversation with the sushi chef, but it would be nice to at least feel a little respected and have a friendly greeting, or maybe at least show that you see we exist. HELLO?
