  • Dined solo at Honey Salt this month and had a great meal. I sat at the bar and was immediately greeted with a smile, menus, water and the specials. Bar tender was very attentive along with the other staff. While eating at the bar, I did not feel that they were not pushy or overbearing- they kept their space but did their jobs as well. I can definitely see why some people have trouble with their service. There was not a designated hostess in sight (I wonder if they all serve and host.) The restaurant itself wasa little loud and dimly lit, but the space is open which lends to that. Both the drink and food menus have something to offer just about anyone. I ordered the steak salad and was not disappointed. Cooked to order which for me is rare (no pun intended) For dessert, I had a lava brownie that was oh so good... I would go back just for that. Tip: Wine Wednesday- any bottle of your choice for 1/2 the price. Can't/Don't want to finish? they'll pack it up for you along with receipt.
