  • O Face you are really started to test my patience. I keep coming back to see if you are changing your ways and correct what was lacking so I can update my review for the better, instead I'm just going to go ahead and knock it down a star. Believe me, this hurts my heart to do so. I truly love your concept, location and the décor...that's not enough since you are a doughnut shop, so make me fall in love with you! Right now you are nothing but a charismatic charmer with an empty soul. Not quite boyfriend material are ya? First off this just focus on a simple concept of running a business, you supply the goods (doughnuts), I supply my money. You are a doughnut shop, so why was my options barely 4 choices with 2 and a half hours prior to your closing on a Sunday? Yes I get it, you don't want to over bake and have too much left over, that's what proper management is for. You lost money not only from myself but from 3 other transactions prior to myself ordering and another 3 from people that came in after I placed my order, that's 7 transactions within a half hour. I walked in with a friend that never been to your shop before and unfortunately he was given a bad first impression. What I did order was three things, the poor excuse for a cruller, a cinnamon doughnut that we didn't finish and a dark chocolate vegan which happened to be my favorite from those choices. The glaze on the cinnamon doughnut is like the glaze from the Mexican doughnut, it's a mess! The glaze is still overly soft and could stand to thicken up some. I have to admit I got a little giddy when I saw that they added cruller to the line up, I'm a huge fan! I should have never ordered the cruller because it was just a kick to my gut as soon as I laid my eyes upon it. I knew I was leading myself to a disappointment yet I ate it anyways. For those that don't know my obsession about the French crullers, it's a beautiful doughnut made from a pate a choux, which yields a lighter than air inside with all sorts of pockets once pulled apart. It's delish! The cruller that I got from here was a dense attempt that should just be taken off the menu. Do it right or don't do it at all. This could easily be a 1 star review but I have faith in you guys.
