A must see
I had a great time here. The history in (almost) touching distance is amazing.
Some of the most iconic signs of Vegas history sitting in an outdoor lot is fascinating in its own right. To think they once welcomed guests from all over the world for several decades and now sit in a lot in downtown Vegas is a trip. But I'm glad they do - I really appreciate what they do here. The effort to preserve this history is certainly appreciated.
The ticket prices are slightly high but considering what you're contributing to and overall Vegas prices are high for everything, it really isn't that bad. The biggest negative is how quickly they sell out (good for them bad for me for not planning far enough in advance). If you're considering visiting, buy your tickets ASAP.
I really enjoyed the opportunity to take lots of picture, but we warned, they are very specific about camera equipment and photography rules so check their website.
The tour itself was neat. I was hoping it would go a little deeper on some things and be less surface level, but that's a minor issue. Really I just loved all the history and wanted more.
Check this place out- you'll be glad you did. Lots of cool Vegas history and a really unique opportunity all in one dirt lot.
