My boyfriend and I went here about a week ago. It was not crazy busy like everyone has said on here but there was a few customers there. We grabbed a seat at the counter and looked over the menu. I love the layout of the place. It does really take you back in time and the fact that they use all the old machinery is even better.
The only complaint I have about the place which a good amount of other people do is the service. When we got there only two people that I saw were working or so I thought. A guy and a girl. The girl was really nice and bending over backward to help whomever she could. The guy had a scowl on his face the whole time and took his time doing whatever he wanted. The girl actually had to tell him to make a few things. She was even nice about it which I don't know why. I would be pissed if I had to tell someone to help out if he saw that I was busy and didn't do anything about it. I had a milkshake with Vanilla and Peanut Butter which was good and my boyfriend had a Strawberry Phosphate...? Which he said was OK. He liked mine more.
All in all the place was amazing with the old time charm. The service could be a bit better. There was another guy that was walking around every now and again with an attitude about him also. I don't know what he was supposed to be doing if he was a server or not. He worked the cash register for about five minutes and then disappeared. I will try the place again but if it is crazy like other people have said I don't think I will wait twenty minutes for an everyday milkshake just to be served by crappy service. The only reason why I would stay is if that one girl is still there that actually works and has a nice attitude.
