  • It was the worse 3 hours experience in my life just for a haircut and 5 foil highlights. I used an online group voucher i had purchased. I wasn't even greeted and had to approach them to ask whether I should return after waiting for 30 mins and there were only 2 stylist chairs so it wasn't overwhelmingly busy! When the assistant tried to put hair colour in my hair, I immediately asked her to show me the hair dye book so that she knows what colour I want, but instead the Owner told her to show me magazines because I won't understand. Afterwards, the assistant proceeded to put the already mixed hair dye into my hair (I was suspicous of why it was already mixed and whether it was the correct colour, but I was dumb and believed that they knew what they were doing). I showed 3 pics of super dark brown hair, but instead got coppery highlights!!!! The Owner was rude because she yelled at me in front of two customers when I complained about the long wait 2 hours later and my hair colour was not the colour I asked for. She continued yelling at me and called me "cheap" because group vouchers are cheap and that's the sort of service that I should expect and that I should never complain to a hairsylist and my reply was "Are you going to give me a bad haircut?". I was quiet so she'd be stop yelling as I felt like a prisioner in the chair since she already snipped. The Owner also tried to charge me an extra almost double the price claiming that I had 7 partial highlights instead of 5. I will never return and now I have to wait until my hair dye settles so that I can dye it back to it's original colour and get a proper haircut, as I was too exhausted to argue with her and she already snipped a few pieces that I was scared to leave the salon w/ half cut hair let alone that might have been best thing to do. I have since called the place I bought the group deal from to tell them about my experience and they were looking into this and filing a complaint in their files. P.S. The free tea is in a nasty teapot at the front that isn't even warmed in a burner.
