  • Just arrived after a 5 hour haul northeast. I just can't believe the traffic! Who are all these people and why are they all going the same direction? That's what I want to know. Luckily, the staff here was friendly and welcoming when I arrived, and I got a room right away. The young woman I spoke with looked just like my niece who's in college, but I didn't say anything. Right now I'm lying down, counting my blessings after a safe trip. I've always believed that it's important to look on the bright side. It's a little hot out there for my taste, but the AC is whirring away in here and if I hadn't just been outside I'd never know the difference. I guess sometimes ignorance is bliss. Normally, I don't shower in the afternoon, but today I might make an exception.
