  • Like most car washes in the valley, this place is hit-and-miss. I honestly think this place is worthy of a 3.5-star review. But since I can't give that, I'll error on the side of caution regarding this review and go with 3-stars. This car wash is certainly old, but it is pretty decent on the inside. There is a nice waiting area, a snack bar, bathrooms, massage chairs, TVs, and outdoor benches to sit at and watch your car get detailed. The staff at this location is average. They are friendly, but the first guy you deal with when you drop your car off will try to up-sell you. Then the glass lady comes (and yes, she looks like she uses glass as well), trying to sell you on windshield chip repair. If you can get through all that, you get to chill in the lobby or outside where you can see you car go through the auto wash. A note on the auto wash: Make sure you tell them to be carful with your wheels. Otherwise, they will push it through with little regard (as all places do), leaving you with some possible damage to your wheels. So be careful. Also, it is possible that your car may not be suitable for the auto wash. They WILL NOT warn you of this, so use discretion if you have large wheels. As far as waiting goes, they are actually pretty quick. I've never waited over 20 minutes for my car after it goes through the auto wash. The next part of the wash involves the staff manually detailing your car, inside and out. This part is the most inconsistent. If you are lucky and get the older Hispanic ladies, you will be happy with their work. They do a great job. Also, I usually try to sit outside at the benches so they can see that I am watching them work on my car. Mainly I do this so that if they miss something, I can nicely point it out to them while I am still there. I do also bring my own rag and do a quick check at a nearby park so that I can wipe anything they may miss (no one is perfect). I think this car wash is better than others in the area. Specifically, the car wash on 35th Avenue and Bethany Home aka "Convict Car Wash". Give that place a miss and stop by this one instead. Getting in and out isn't easy, but if you're driving South, make a left at Rose Lane and go through the neighborhood until you come out on 18th Avenue, then turn right. It's easier.
