Ok, so now I have to figure out how to justify another 6 hour drive to Cleveland.
We were staying in Westlake. We see this ice cream parlor. It's hot and we both decide we could go for some ice cream.
So we go inside. They have a lot of flavors that you just won't find at normal ice cream parlors. So after scanning the list, I come across key lime pie. The lady behind the counter asks if I want to sample something. I said I want to try the key lime pie. She gives me a spoon. I eat the ice cream. All is good with the world.
I order the key lime pie. It was the best ice cream that I've ever had. All of the other things like being a local place and using local ingredients go out the window. The quality of the ice cream wins out over everything else.
$100 in gas and about $10 in tolls. And I'm thinking about how I can get there next month.
