  • I have been to black bear diner's before. Most of those I would rate a lot higher, particularly the one in Mesa. This one is skimpy on the food and it's seldom cooked properly although sometimes it is. This one is not at all reliable. I've been there six times since it opened thinking that it would get better, they were just going through opening pains. But no. No improvement at all.
