I've always wanted to try flower cone gelato ever since I saw pictures of people eating it in Italy, so Amorino was on my must eat list for Vegas. I got the small cone ($5.95w/tax) and was told 3-4 flavors was the recommended max, but you could choose as much flavors as you wanted. It's both a blessing and a curse for indecisive people like me - you get to try a little bit of everything, but with so many choices it can be kind overwhelming.
I chose the amarena cherry (custard base, favorite flavor of one of the founders), mango, raspberry and passion fruit. Amarena cherry was bomb and I feel like you can't ever go wrong with mango (delicious, but tasted like any other mango sorbet). Good gelato made with natural and organic ingredients that's worth the $6 imo. Hands down the most gorgeous presentation as well.
The reason I knocked off a star is because I found their system kind of awkward for first timers. You pay first and then hand your receipt to the person who scoops your ice cream. I prefer being able to look at all the flavors while waiting in line. I felt bad cause I took forever sampling and choosing while the next person in line had already paid and was waiting on me.
If you're looking for an Instagram worthy picture of a flower cone, get multiple flavors. But I think once you've got your fill of pictures, just one or two flavors in a cup is best so you can easily enjoy each flavor separately instead of just getting a small petal or two of each one. I seriously lucked out with the guy scooping mine as some of the other flower cones on Yelp didn't turn out nearly as nice haha.
