Lobos is one of those apartment management companies that has too many properties to handle. I rented an apartment from them a couple years ago and whenever a problem occured it took about ten calls for them to finally come and do something about it. It wasn't like they totally neglected me, but I seriously had to keep pestering them until they sent someone over.
Often when I called the employee I talked to didn't even know they owned the property and would tell me to call back when "so-and-so" was working because he/she was the one who dealt with the apartments in my neighborhood thus starting an endless game of phone tag.
Also, getting our security deposit back was an unbelievable hassle. We left our apartment in perfect shape but Lobos Management claimed we didn't and it wasn't until we threatened legal action in a small claims court with photo evidence that our apartment was left in mint condition that they relented and gave us our security deposit back.
Since then, anytime I have been looking for a new apartment and I find out Lobos is the management company I take a pass and keep on looking.
