  • Tartine is a hidden gem located in the sleepy neighborhood of the West End. I ordered a coffee to start, as it doesn't appear that they offer any kind of latte or cappuccino or espresso as it wasn't listed on their menu. I ordered the tartine peche, which had a delicious basil and ricotta mix on a slice of bread then topped with peaches. The tartines come with a side of lyonnaise potatoes, which were delicious. They have a cooler in the front of the restaurant and it was empty so I'm not sure if they still have deserts for sale from the cooler or if they were just out of them for the day, as we arrived around 1pm and they close at 2pm. I will definitely stop back again for brunch but definitely earlier in the day! The owner is a really nice guy and his adorable service dog can be seen following him all over the restaurant!
