| - Wow, so sad. Normally, I give everyone a chance to "make it right", but this place has the worst customer service that I have seen in a long time.
I called Monday morning at 9:45a to make an appointment for 6p on a Tuesday night for a plain manicure. No gel, no acrylic, regular ole manicure that should take 20 minutes tops. When I called, they said "they were open" and I picked my time. I arrived 10 mins early. I sat out front until 6:05. I was brought back to the manicure tables, I was seated at the same time as another gal. The manicurist that seated us then went back to working on another person. So, at 6:10, I asked how much longer the wait would be. The guy looked at me with a smug laugh and said, "I have a few more people coming in. They will be here in 15-20 minutes." When I told him I had an appointment, again, with a smug laugh he said, "sorry, we are short staffed" and then stared at me. I said, "that should have been communicated to me". And left.
Listen, I get that you may be short staffed, but I should have been informed of the wait and the fact that you were running so far behind. I am an exceptionally understanding person, but when you think your time is more important than mine, I have to draw the line there.
And to the guy with the smug laugh: this is probably a blind spot for you. Consider how you make people FEEL, because after all, you are in the service industry where how your clients feel when they leave your salon matters!!
