I've been coming to Broadacres since before I could walk and as far back as I can remember I've always appreciated that I can get all the Mexican food and sweets my family and I are craving: candied fruits, roasted peanuts, Mazapanes, tacos, fresh coconut with Valentina & limón- damn!
I can't think of something that isn't sold here, and it's mostly always worth it to get cheap makeup (mainly L.A. Girl and drugstore makeup) & end the day with some Tostilocos & agua fresca.
In the Summer it's difficult to be out here for long periods of time in the heat since most of the marketplace is uncovered. And I don't like that I can't bring my own water bottle in. Be sure to bring CASH! Most places, even some food vendors don't take card, so it's best to bring a $20 or two.
Overall I love hearing Spanish around me, and the bright colors, eating delicious food, and hearing different genres of Latino music.
