  • I like to think that I understand all things mechanical and can fix just about anything. What I don't like is fixing cars, really I don't. With my own garage and tools I'd be fine, but I gave that up years ago... So when I need some work done I come here, and I recommend everyone I know to come here as well. It seems that most everyone who buys a car now goes to the dealership at which it was bought for service, after working at a dealership in sales for years I promise this is NOT the best idea. Yes sometimes they are good, but think about it... corporate. Anyway you look at it you have guaranteed business if you have lots of sales. Not so with a private shop. So they actually will care about their customers. There are quite a few things I can talk on about Interstate but the main thing most everyone cares about is cost, and they are hard to beat. Quality work and a low cost, and no way would I call it "cheap", just inexpensive. I prefer to buy my own oil and filters and parts, they definitely do not have a problem with this either. (** hint hint ** 20% advanceauto.com usually) The fellas in the shop are always friendly and easy to talk to. By no means is it fancy, nor pretty, but that's how you know its a real mechanics shop. I've brought my Saab and Jeep here for over a year now and had them take care of me many a times. They've always done my friends right, and at about half the cost of a typical dealership! The best thing is... they get the job done quick. Check em out!
