I am a fan of the Spoke Club when I am lucky enough to get in with a member.
I attended the Spoke Club in January for a conference. The experience was interesting. The room itself was located on the middle floor of the Spoke Club. We had access to our own restrooms which was nice. The lighting in the room could be adjusted with blinds, which helped. It can get a bit noisy as you hear footsteps upstairs. The chairs used for the conference were uncomfortable to sit in for 7.5 hours, to the point where your butt starts to hurt.
Food: The lunch entree's were a bit bland and underwhelming. We received grass-fed beef tenderloin, salmon over wild rice, and a few salads. Everything tasted under-seasoned.
The desserts were decent. Fruit plates, creme brulee (average) but the cookies stole the show.
I found it annoying that there was only one elevator that gains you access to the Spoke Club. It got quite packed throughout the day, and made it troublesome to go upstairs and down frequently.
Overall, the place is fancy, but does not seem prestigious in any way. Reasonable rates for renting the conference rooms.
