  • Little frustrating start. I called and scheduled two appointments one for me and one for my dad. Certain doctors are only available a couple times a month which is annoying to begin with. When my dad's ready to leave the appointment they tell us it's going to be $69. At no point during setting the appointment or prior to the examination did they mention the fee. I was told it was a free examination. I asked several times prior to setting the appointment. The front office staff got confused over the phone because one appointment was for Orthodontic and the other wasn't. Apparently Ortho is a free consultation but the other isn't. It wasn't expensive it's just annoying not to be told up front. The front Office staff needs more training and need to speak much clearer. It's very difficult to understand them over the phone. I couldn't even make out "Affordable Dental" when they answer the phone. We then went to a second dentist's office not even an hour later and they call this location to get a copy of the dental records/x Ray's we just had done. Surprise! They cannot find them. The whole time the receptionist at the new office were sitting at can't understand Affordable Dentals receptionist. After waiting about 30+ minutes Affordable Dental still cannot locate the X Ray's and state they must've keyed the name incorrectly despite all of our paperwork and referral having the correct spelling. During our trip to the Office they could be found constantly looking for misplaced charts or items. We have just not had a good experience with this place thus far. The dentist himself was amazing and had a fantastic educational history and seemed beyond qualified to do the work it's just hard to want to get thousands of dollars worth of work done when you see this level of disorganization and inability to communicate right off the bat.
