  • Since the yellowpages reviews were deleted for this place, I felt it was necessary to write one on here so people are aware before they are tempted by the deal sites. I have been to Michelle's Everlasting Beauty on two separate occasions. The first time was after the mistake of buying a Groupon for a shellac manicure and deluxe pedicure. Firstly, this place is tiny. They only have a two pedicure chairs, 2 manicure stations and 2 people working (Michelle and usually a family member). So if you book an appointment for 5pm, don't expect to be seated and getting your pedicure/manicure until at least 5:30 since she always overbooks. Also expect Michelle to push any and every service on you including permanent makeup. Anyways, back to my first visit. Upon arriving and getting the pedicure I was informed that Groupon "misprinted" something and that a paraffin treatment wasn't included in our pedicures. I figured it wasn't a big deal and shrugged it off. While I was getting my pedicure, Michelle offered us two more vouchers at the same price as the Groupon so we could come back in the future. Thinking $29 for a pedicure and shellac manicure was a great deal in Oakville, we jumped on them only to regret them by the time we left. The pedicure was rushed, my feet were rougher than they were going in there since they weren't filed properly and there wasn't any "pampering" that you'd get from most other places. Getting the shellac manicure wasn't overly pleasurable either. My nails weren't filed properly and I had to keep correcting her to get her to smooth out rough and uneven edges. She started getting irritated after a few times so I reluctantly shut my mouth and let her get it over with. Within about 20 minutes my nails were done and looking mediocre minus the rough little pieces sticking out. We paid our tax, tipped a few bucks and left. Of course, the next day our shellac was already chipping and I had to take it off myself at home within 4 days. Unfortunately we had to go back the second time, and I informed Michelle that I was incredibly disappointed with my initial manicure. She apologized and told me if the same thing happened this time to get in touch with her and she'd fix them for free. Of course the overall manicure/pedicure was again rushed and sloppy. This time my nails chipped on the second day instead of the first. So I got in touch with her and she blamed the UV lights saying they were being faulty, and she was waiting for new ones. Once she got them she'd fix my nails for free. Obviously, that's the last I heard of her ever. So fair warning. If you see a groupon or dealfind or whatever it may be and think it's too good to be true, it definitely is. Save your money.
