I've been here a few times, and was never blown out of the water and at this price point in the burgh I expect to be, but damn, the last time was amazing. After looking over some of the other reviews, I think we lucked out because we went late after a show without a res and received impeccable service. From the amuse bouches to the dessert everything was timed perfectly and the food was exactly what you want from creative California cuisine, which by the way, is one of my favorites.
I was obsessed with my meal of perfectly cooked filet & scallops served with a shrimp, purple potato and lima bean side over a to die for coconut curry which was the special that night and I hope they make it a permanent surf & turf offering because I'm going to have cravings. Not one negative word was said at our table and we were kind of a tough crowd. I've scoffed at Sonoma for not being exciting or delicious enough in the past but last Friday night changed my mind.
