You get out of this what you put into it.
You could breeze through this entire Aquarium in 15 minutes. Easily. But then you aren't being fair to yourself and giving yourself the entire experience that is available to you and your kids. Because this aquarium is geared towards kids.
The tanks offer a variety of sea life (which are changed every so often) and have a fun computer screens that provide information as to what is in that tank and information about that species. While it is too much information for my 4 year old, what we like to do is let him click the different animals and then we try to find them in the tank. So it is still very interactive even for the little ones.
If you have the opportunity to do the behind the scenes, do it. You find out so much more information about the aquarium and the sea life there. And it is just awesome being on top of the tank.
Get your tickets online rather than paying at the time of entry. It will save you some money and they also offer toddler days where prices are cut too.
This is always a fun family experience for us. My son loves that he can play on the playground after touring the aquarium and I love it because he can release more energy and is ready for nap time! *wink, wink
