I went in to look at purchasing a Leaf. We talked numbers and couldn't come to an agreement. They gave me payments and I left and discussed with my wife. We decided to do it so I called Nissan back. They said ok and decided to draw up paper work. They called my back before I left the house and told me the payment had gone up higher than what we agreed upon. I told them I obviously had to think about it more.
I called them the next day and told them we would go with the higher payment. Once again they were drawing up paperwork. On my way to the dealership they called me and said they made a mistake. My payment would be $80 higher than we had just agreed upon. And it was also $120 higher than we had originally agreed upon the first day. Needless to say I told them no and left a voicemail for the general manager. He never called back but had a salesperson call me and offer $20 a month cheaper which was still $100 more a month than we had agreed upon. I will be buying a car from somewhere else.
