| - I think 4.5 stars would be more accurate but since our server was so friendly and the food was so tasty, I decided to round up instead of down.
My wife and I came for lunch on a Saturday. What first caught our attention was the lack of any real formal entrance. You kind of just find yourself in a courtyard with tables. Lunch is less formal so we just found a seat and the lone server (that's right, there was only one on shift), took our order. The courtyard wasn't the nicest looking, but it definitely felt warm and cozy.
We got the lunch feast, which was basically a sampler of all their popular dishes. Not only did we thoroughly enjoy it, we also felt the price was more than reasonable. We got appetizers, main courses, and two desserts. Everything tasted good, with some dishes better than others. In my opinion, the Pernil Asado and their empanadas were the best, while my wife really enjoyed the Cuban sliders and veggie tostadas. We had their chocolate torte and bread pudding for dessert. The bread pudding was good, but their chocolate torte was amazing.
The reason I would lower the score by a half point if possible would be due to the slow service. It had nothing to do with our server, who was friendly and helpful, but rather due to the fact that she was waiting on about a dozen tables at once. Getting our bill and paying took a little longer than desired.
Overall, I highly recommend trying this place out, especially for lunch.
