| - Being fans of Ricardo, my friend and I decided to try his cafe for brunch last Sunday. It's only 15min from downtown Montreal by car, and it was nice to get outside the city. The place is nice, with one side of the shop where you can buy many things like kitchen supplies, chocolate, and ice cream. The other side is the cafe. I had the smoked salmon bagel, which was delicious but I was a bit disappointed with the size of the dish. I don't eat much in general, yet I still felt the portions were a bit small. My friend got the indian bowl, which is a vegetarian salad mixed with different marinated vegetables, spinach, and curcuma garbanzo beans. It was full of color and the flavors were well balanced. To end this delicious brunch, we had the lemon cheesecake to share. If you love cheesecake and lemon meringue tart, you have to try this one. It's the perfect mix of both, it is to die for!
