| - I called Lewis & Sons to get a second opinion on some AC damage that my insurance company quoted me for. Jeff gave me all the information about the damage, the problems it could cause, the potential fixes, and what the insurance company was required to do for my claim. He spent a lot of time with me answering all my random questions. With this information, I was able to effectively argue and get the insurance company to send another guy out to look at my damage. Because of this, they ended up changing their recommendation from "fan the coils" to "replace the coils." Since replacing old coils is a very expenive option and my AC was 15 yrs old, I opted to use the money towards a new AC.
Since Jeff was so helpful, a few months later I called him back up to get a quote for my new AC. They came out to my house again to look at my setup in order to give me the most accurate quote. None of the other companies bothered to do that, and therefore couldn't take into consideration my really small attic space. After finally deciding which one I wanted, again involving lots of random questions which Jeff answered very thoroughly, my AC was installed.
Everyone at Lewis & Sons was very friendly, knowledgeable, and they always answered my calls and emails efficiently. In the end I believe I got the best value possible and I'm loving my new AC.
