My daughter has attended this childcare since she was an infant, back when it was children's choice. I never had any issues. She is now 9 and this new company that has take over, Bright Horizon Is awful. The front office is the worse. The unprofessional of the employees is beyond anything I have ever seen. It seems they are more there to converse about their personal lives then conduct business. You can walk in to get your child and from the front desk to the people who are suppose to be watching the children you'll see the staff just sitting around discussing their personal lives. The fire alarm goes off numerous times a week at this facility. Your child will be put in the cold of winter without a jacket. I've seen infants pushed out in cribs during a fire alarm with nothing to keep them warm. When I asked why this occurs so often I was told that sometimes children will pull it.....well if this is happening where are the people who are suppose to be watching these children?!?!? I have written the company in regard to this and all they did to rectify it is post memos every time the alarm goes off. So parents are aware it has occurred. My daughter has fun when she goes and is at an age where she can tell me everything that happens there. Such as when they were getting ready for bed ,she wanted water and the staff members told her no. I wrote an email right away to the director. It was quickly fixed, but why is your staff denying children a basic human need in the first place???? (I'm happy my daughter can speak) My biggest complaint about this company are the employees and the communication from the staff. The care for the children has gone out the window with brought horizon. Meanwhile rates have gone up twice since they've taken over and they now have a sur charge during the summer. Before bright horizon took over I would have recommended this place now I say stay away unless absolutely necessary.
