| - Salon has changed hands (again) and not for better. I was a regular for a decade until this latest change. Sign welcomes walk-ins, so I did that (as always) asking how long before I could be taken for a pedicure. The man in front said "you're next," and I saw a chair where occupant was already at polish step of pedicure, so I took a seat, expecting a 5 minute wait. FIFTEEN minutes later, as that customer finally was getting up, another lady sailed in and was immediately summoned back to the now empty chair. Only when I expressed surprise was I told, "she had an appointment."
Then why was I told I was next when I came in?
"Oh, she had an appointment."
Why wasn't I told that before I wasted 15 minutes?
"SHe had an appointment." (Repeat, repeat. No apology, no offer of discounted service, no indication that anyone recognized I had been misled and my time wasted!)
So I left-- for good. A 10-year customer who tips generously, shrugged off --not because the lady with appointment was taken first, but because NOBODY even apologized for misleading me and wasting my time!
