| - Not only is this place expensive, we really got screwed on our tree. It took 3 different guys to get the base on the tree. They had to drill a few different holes and then they finally got the base into the tree. When they stood it up, it looked crooked to everyone. They took the base out, screwed another hole into my tree and it appeared to be straighter....but not straight. They gave us some leveling blocks and said one the tree settles, it will look ok. Seemed like an odd answer, but I am not the one that owns a Xmas tree lot. They also told us to give it a lot of water right away, which we did. It's 24 hours later, the tree is MORE crooked and it has drank NO water. Clearly something isn't right. Called Steve who didn't seem like he had much time to talk to a customer from whom he was not going to take more cash from this season. He told me I could drive the tree back down to his lot for a refund. Really? I need to take the base out and strap the tree to my Porsche and take it down there? Um....no. So I offer to go there tonight, pick out a new tree, have them deliver it and take my old one. Not good enough for Steve, who won't refund me a new tree without the old one and he REFUSES to pick the old one up. As if I am going to keep a slanted, dying tree as part of my "master plan" to get a new Xmas tree. Well, now I know to never go to this place again, hope you'll follow my lead. Merry effen Christmas.
