Was recommended by a friend of mine while i was craving some steak
so i made reservations got ready and headed down to Del Frisco's
upon entering i felt the place was too crowded in the way their tables were set up . i had to squeeze my self between the waiter and the tables sitting next to us, the table was already set up with too many sets for just a party of two there was almost no space left on the table i had to move things out of the way in order to read the menus and then it gets really confusing. there was three menus offering the same thing in different deals , the regular menu, the sunday menu and then a restaurant week special menu PLUS two more additional SPECIAL OFFERS the waiter mentioned and he tried to make sense of their overwhelming menu choices. i am a fan of simplicity and a fine dining restaurant with great food should not have such overwhelming choice of deals going on. finally got to order our choices for the night! THE ESCARGOT WAS DIVINE ! great choice. Then Shanghai Style Fried calamari was DELICIOUS! Then came the steaks! we order the Filet Mignon and The Porterhouse steak .. Both medium rare UNFORTUNATELY THEY WERE JUST DRY AND OVERLY SALTY. There was no juices left on the steak as if it was old, frozen or somebody had taken a towel and soaked all the juices out of the steak . no a single drop of juice on my plate . just a dry steak with some toppings .
i was very disappointed with the steak quality in this steakhouse,i didn't even finish my steak as i normally would clean my plate i left craving a good steak more then when i first entered. i have definitely had better
