  • Very impressed by this new poke place. I was a bit hesitant at first because the poke in PGH has been pretty inconsistent but the best think about Kahuna is that you can build your poke bowl to your exact specifications. The chefs here also pile on the toppings so I ended up with a portion large enough for 2 meals for just $10. Their fried toppings are especially appealing, particularly the garlic and lotus chips. I ended up with a bowl that had all the textures I would want in a poke bowl, unlike other poke joints where all I get is mushy fish and rice. I highly recommend Kahuna when dining in this area. The prices are extremely reasonable for this neighborhood and I'm thoroughly impressed by the quality of the food.
