I used to live within almost walking distance. I'm sorry to say that it's not that cool. One thing I'd agree with Jon K with is that I rarely saw any women in here. It does draw in huge groups of guys. They do have a great beer and liquor selection. But it's pricey as hell. The bartenders are mostly friendly and attentive.
The parking lot here is a mess. Take the number of patrons inside and multiply it by 1.4, and that's the number of cars. It might be easier to park on 8th Place as it gets packed. They have a few TV's but they're riddled with static. How is it a place like this charges five bucks for a fucking beer but can't fix their satellite, or just get Cox cable? I know it's not a sports bar, but it's typically so boring that the TV thing becomes important.
I'd say skip this place and check out the Vig, Shadys, Sanctum, HB Hanrattys, Pomeroys or any of the places on 16th Street. Hell, even hit up a gay bar. You'll save yourself money and have a much better chance of seeing a woman.
