| - I am posting my experience in hopes to warn & prevent anyone else looking for a new apartment from having an awful service experience and complete waste of time. It is always sad to post a poor review, but it is necessary given the circumstances.
Let me start off by stating that this review is in regards to the most horrible experience I had upon presentation of the staff. We did not even make it to the apartment tour because of how bad our sit-down was.
So my boyfriend and I drive in and are quite excited as this will be the winner since the apartment possesses the features we are looking for. We walk to the lobby door and the door is locked. A woman (Kim) cracks the door open and apologizes and says that they are just now going to lunch as they were not able to earlier and told us we could come back just before 4PM. (Keep in mind our apartment tour is at 4PM and was confirmed via phone) although that is a bit of an inconvenience to wait, we did arrive 30 mins early and she did seem apologetic. No problem, we decide to run an errand and grab some lunch. We arrive back a few minutes after 4PM. Again, the door is locked and Kim opens the door and says "we are still at lunch, sorry we didn't get to take it" sounding like a broken record at this point. My boyfriend pointed out "but you said it was okay to arrive at this time" she says the same thing and my boyfriend asks "what would you like me to do?" she said that their break would be done in 10 mins. We proceed to our car to sit there for the next 10 minutes. We were so put off by all of this and we have only been understanding this entire time. Whatever, let's just get the numbers and see the apartment.
We walk back in, the door is now unlocked, and we walk up to the girl at front desk. I have no idea what her name was, but she had the ugliest look on her face. No greeting, no smile. You may as well have it written on your forehead "don't bother me, I don't care"... I mean literally we were not registering on her give-a-shit meter. I think she applied for the wrong position there.
Anyways, Kim walks out of an office and we have to explain what we are doing there... At this point I am wondering why we even set up an appointment. Quite useless. Kim points to a desk and says she can help us over there. As we sit down, she actually has the audacity to say.. (this is what baffles me the most...) "yeah we will work with you, you guys have been very cooperative" wait... did I miss something? What would have happened if we actually had an issue with accommodating to the lunch you took DURING business hours, during our appointment time, and letting you stare us down like we are bad people for just accommodating YOU. So far, all I have gained from this experience is nonsense and a wasted time. I just brush off what she said. She asks what we are looking for and continues to explain what she has. At this point, I have checked out and am not interested in this apartment thanks to both employees here. Kim is not being specific about any of the details as she is rambling. When she is speaking, something is just off and she seems to be in a rush. My boyfriend pauses and says "I am sorry can you explain that again, I missed that" She returns this smug look and says "um, what is your name again?" ... What kind of reply is that to a legitimate question? I lost it from there. I will not sit there and let someone talk down in the looks, tone of voice, and as if we are stupid each time we ask a simple question. Their entire demeanor was completely rude. I stated "lets go, I can't deal with her anymore. We set up an appointment for 4PM and all you have done is been so rude for no reason"
I am completely amazed with how these two girls handle prospective residents. These people need some serious schooling on what real customer service is and why it is essential for any successful business. All this tells me is that you hate your job because you can't even bother to be kind.
I read other reviews just like this one with the same reply from "Resident Care" ... it is evident that nothing has changed. You are not "striving for the best experiences" you flat out could care less and it shows. With this continued level of service, this place WILL only go down from here.
You get what you pay for... especially employees.
