  • I've seen this place downtown for years and finally went for a work-related holiday lunch with a party of 10. Now I've heard rave reviews for years, but I have to say I was a bit disappointed with the food. The server was friendly and efficient, and though we waited a bit for our food, they kept the hot bread coming, which was quite tasty. I had the Italian Sausage sandwich. It was a few small pieces of sausage, average flavor, on what looked and tasted like a somewhat large hotdog bun that had been on the counter for a while. I was still hungry afterwards. Now, I can go to a deli and get a bigger sausage sub with way more sausage for the same price and end up taking half home for later. I will say that it was not at all expensive and that combined with the decent service is why I gave 3 stars.
