  • I discovered Southpoint right after moving to Las Vegas and let me tell you it is one of my most favorite casinos in all of Las Vegas!!! This casino has it all!!! 64 lane bowling alley! CHECK Movie Theater! CHECK BINGO! CHECK Huge Sports Book! CHECK Awesome restaurants from Italian, steakhouse, oyster bar, ice cream shop, coffee shop, to an amazing NY style deli! I mean pastrami sandwiches the size of your head! Huge desserts, canolli, cheesecake, cookies and other awesome pastries! There is also a steak and shake and a 24 hour cafe that serves breakfast all day and has a huge menu! The buffet in my opinion is very sub par! Not very good which is surprising because the food throughout is great! Rooms are very plain but comfy and spacious! Very well priced! Pool is average, but spa and workout facilities are very above average! Gaming here is always fun! Have hit a few jackpots! Lots of weekly comedy shows and music acts! Rodeo, nascar, etc. Only reason it doesn't get five stars is I really don't like the air quality. Too smokey! You would think there would be better air ventilation! And not sure how I feel about the "gay rodeo"? What is that all about? Lol Anyway, great locals casino and I highly recommend!
