  • First off, I would like to say that Dr. Wenner is absolutely AMAZING. I followed her to Health Care Partners from UMC, she's that awesome. BUT.... today when I tried to make an appt I was asked if I was a new or established patient. I replied established, I've been there many times before. The girl laughs and says, "Oh no, you're new!" I said no I've been there before. She tells me because it's been more than 1 yr since I've been here, you're considered NEW. I got a little upset and gave her a few choice words which I'm not proud of but yeah I was mad. I demanded to speak with the Office Manager. IF THEY TELL YOU THE SAME THING, ITS ABSOLUTELY INCORRECT AND ASK TO SPEAK WITH THE OFFICE MANGER. I spoke with the front office lead who told me that I have been there before and am established. Ok, thank you for correcting that. But.... the next available appt isn't until DECEMBER 29TH!! Needless to say, I called my health insurance provider to complain. This is ridiculous. I was told if I need care sooner, I can go to the Urgent Care or ER. If this happens to you, notify your health ins because that is just not right.
