  • Had been going to a national cheap-clip hair chain. It was always hit and miss for my $10. Then I came to J. Cal's and met Mike. When I sat in his chair I felt like I glided back to 1969 when getting a haircut meant seeing a professional who took pride in his work. I offered Mike some vague suggestions and let him do his thing. When he was finished, I said wow not just cause of the great haircut but also the reasonable price. When I came home, my wife said I looked great and that there was a big difference between Mike and the cheap clips I've been going to. It's three weeks now and I've already scheduled my next appointment. Highly recommend J. Cals, and especially Mike. Glad to see there's still craftsmen who take their jobs seriously.
