I've visited many of the cosmopolitan restaraunts, this is the most disappointing one by far.
It's supposed to be a fusion between Chinese and Mexican food... However I did not see any true fusion. The menu was half Mexican and half Chinese, there wasn't a blend/fusion which I was hoping for. I was expecting g something unique line a Chinese inspired dumpling with Mexican infused flavours... However I didn't see anything like that. The tacos were traditional tacos, the dumplings were traditional dumplings.
This is a tapas type venue where you'll have to order at least 3 items to get full. I ordered 4 items on the menu plus dessert and a drink. I don't even remember the items as none of them were memorable.
The restaraunt is fairly pricey for the quantity/amount of food per dish. You are paying that premium for eating at restaraunt owned by Jose Andres and within the cosmopolitan.
The service was good, the decor was nice, and the ambiance was great. It felt like a good restaurant to be in.
The only interesting item on the menu was the dessert (as shown in my pic). I looked awesome and was fun to eat. It tasted okay, but was a fun experience to try.
My bill came to $100, and I wasn't satisfied at all. Not with the quality food nor the value.
