I have been going here for a few years because I felt the service was good or even great. I had brakes done on my old car and lots of oil changes. They have new people in there when I go in recently. I have a new car and I am going on a long trip. I want to change the oil ahead of time. The car requires either synthetic oil or a special 0-20 weight. They said I had to have ONLY the synthetic and charged me $91 for an oil change.
I look at the owner's manual when I get home and it says "Premium-grade 0W-20 detergent oil with an API Certification Seal on the container". "You may also use synthetic motor oil if it is labeled with the API Certification Seal and is the specified viscosity grade." So I am off to Atlanta, 2000 miles away.
I happened to go into a dealer with a minor window problem. They offer an oil change because of the mileage. It is only $31.95 at the dealer. Ok, do it. Then they tell me the last guys to change my oil left 2 screws off of some mount in the engine compartment. That seals it.
Something bad has happened at this Meineke location. I will not go back again.
