  • I found Beltman on Angies list with an A rating and decided to go for it. I recently moved from Phoenix, AZ to Staten Island NY and I wanted a great company who would take care of my things and be prompt and professional. Beltmann was all that and MORE. Mark Rankin did my estimate in person and was friendly and helpful from the start. He even brought me a few donated art packing boxes when I asked for them! He answered my questions along the way and always responded right away!!!! He kept in touch throughout the process, as did Karen at the office. Karen called and checked up on the delivery day as well, to ask if the driver had arrived and how it went! Rene' drove the North American Van lines truck - he arrived to my Phoenix home with a friendly demeanor and upbeat attitude, and was very professional and organized. He carefully tagged my things and logged them. The moving crew that met him at my house were awesome as well! They helped me pack my TV because it wouldn't fit in the tv box on the stand it was on, and I was alone so I couldn't do it myself. They also took SPECIAL care of a large dollhouse that my grandfather made for me in the mid 1970's - I am THRILLED to report that it, along with ALL my other belongings, arrived WITH ZERO DAMAGE or BREAKAGE. And i mean down to the wine glasses. (kudos to me for a great packing job too, LOL) The guys arrived in Staten Island on the EXACT date that Rene estimated. They had to transfer my stuff from the 18 wheeler to a smaller U Haul truck due to the fact that Im on a hill and a one way street. Once they arrived, they assessed right away that my couch and fridge would not fit through the front door. LUCKILY, I have a sliding glass patio door here, so the guys carefully removed the glass doors and got my things inside with zero issues. They then put the doors back on, and were so great and careful handling my things. I can't say enough about how much STRESS they relieved for me. A cross country move is NO JOKE, and they made it the easiest I could have ever imagined it to be. Thank you SO much, Mark, Rene, Karen, and everyone at Beltmann for doing such amazing work!!!!!
